Boot love..

As it continues to pour with rain, im here snuggled up at home watching Christmas movies (too early?) and listening to Lana Del Rey, the weather has really put me off stepping foot outside unless something majorly important requires me to do so.. FOOD.

But i have decided to do more blog posts on my current favorite items, clothing, makeup etc

Now its no secret that i am the most pickiest person when it comes to absolutely everything in my life!! especially with shoes.. i like a certain shape, color, style... you catch my drift?
So when i accidentally found these cute leather pointy toed booties, i immediately tried them on and fell in shoe love.

ANOTHER CURRENT FAV.. are these very affordable edgy sling back white ankle boots from Missguided!
Now they are currently out of stock, but i'm sure they'll be back in a week or two!
I really like the sling back detail and block heel, gives an edgier look and looks really cool with skinny denims and an over sized cable knit jumper!

Lady in Portobello..

If you know me or follow me on instagram, you'll know how obsessed i am with Portobello Road and Notting Hill, also the market on Portobello Road is so much fun at the weekends!
Stalls filled with all kinds of treasures, vintage and native Indian shops (Jessie Western, a personal fav) and freshly made juices to sip on as you admire the beauty of the famous buildings you see all over the internet!

These areas give me such inspiration with my fashion, its beautifully colored pastel houses never fail to amaze me and quirky vibrant shops! And what better outfit to shoot than this silky bright pink skirt and fluffy nude heels!

Both skirt and heels are missguided, while shooting these looks i had a lot of people stop and ask me where these items where from including a cute little old lady haha!
I wanted to jazz up the skirt with a statement piece of jewelry, keeping an overall ladylike and feminine feel to the outfit.

I love changing up my style from edgy to feminine and also combining the two, celebrating the beauty of a woman's figure with delicate fabrics and tones to compliment your skin tone and body shape while adding some edgy pieces for a nice balance between the two.

My visit to MUSE OF LONDON..

I was invited to take a little visit down to Muse Of London salon on Thursday to get my hair and nails done. The moment i read that creative director Jason Cocking had tended the hair of the Olsen twins, Shanae Grimes and Cat Deeley i said YES!

The salon is pretty close to Oxford street, it took me only a few minutes walk from the station.
When i reached the salon i couldn't wait to get inside as it looked very bold and quirky from across the street.

I was greeted by all the friendly staff and felt right at home with my cup of coffee as i waited to be seated. The salon had a lovely fun feel to it. So much color and character, the type of of salon you want to take your friends to before a night out!

Upstairs was hair and downstairs was nails and beauty.

I talked to colorist Jamie about what i wanted to achieve with my hair. I wanted to go back darker as i had an Ombre/balayage style all summer and coming into winter i felt like going back to my natural hair would be the best and easiest style to manage.

I was really impressed with the finished result, my hair looked glossy and full of life. I loved the lighter tones through the ends!
I then went to get my nails done by the lovely girls downstairs in the beauty area. A simple set of Gel nails in a lovely deep red for winter! I also enjoyed a lovely chat with the girls, talking about all things fashion!

I highly recommend this salon and will definitely be going back with all my girlfriends, the staff were amazing and my overall experience was lovely. Its hard to find the perfect salon that does both great hair and nails.
Muse Of London has certainly got both!

Leather + Denim..

Leather is the perfect look this season!

I found these beautiful pair of leather trousers from Gioia Milano.
The great thing about these trousers is not only are they the nicest leather trousers i have ever owned but not everyone will have the same pair because they aren't from your typical high street brand! Nothing more embarrassing than walking past someone who is wearing the same trousers as you.
These trousers feel so lightweight and comfortable, they literally go with everything!

I wanted to show how to style leather pants in a basic way, with a casual Hype t-shirt and denim jacket for everyday wear.

Dress them up with a nice blazer and open toed sandals.
Which ever way you decide to wear them, they will look dressy and warm enough for the colder winter months ahead.
Also loving the Missguided denim jacket which is lined with fleece on the inside to keep you extra snug during colder days!

(Wearing small in these trousers and uk 6 in the jacket)

Also loving these cute rings from Lvndr mix and match for a cute touch to your outfit.

Mix and Match..

I have always wanted to collab with other bloggers and when i met Emily Cocklin one night at an event, it was like blogger love at first sight!
So we decided to set up a little collaboration, bringing something new and fresh to our blogs.
We aimed to create a theme with our styles and stick to a matching color/texture using clothing from Motel Rocks and matching fluffy shoes!!

We took to the streets of East London this afternoon and shot everything around Spitalfields Market.
Wearing matching over sized cuddly jumpers in grey/black.
I opted for high waisted black and white dogtooth trousers while Emily chose a fluffy Motel skirt!

And what better way to finish these outfits with some matching fluffy shoes! Baby pink complimented the darker tones of my outfit in a lovely soft, feminine way! Adding a twist of class and sophistication to the overall style.

Being 5'7 and Emily half my size, today was definitely a challenge with getting shots that didn't make me look like a giant! But i am very impressed at how we worked together in complimenting each others height difference!

Tartan in Ireland.

So as some of you may know, it was recently my birthday and of course a birthday to me is not complete without my family, so i decided this year i would go home to Ireland for it for the first time in three years since moving to London!

Ireland is one of the most peaceful and tranquil places in the world to me, going home really grounds me and unwinds me from all of the stress of London life.
I got to spend time on my Grandmothers farm, i have always been obsessed with the natural beauty that surrounds her home in Kerry. I told myself next time i go to her house i wanted to shoot a look in her chicken coup! I love adding a little fun to my outfits and showing a little of where i'm originally from.

Now it wasn't easy chasing the chickens around like a crazy women to get them into my shots but it was very funny and i think my grandmother thought i was insane as she watched me from her kitchen window!

I chose to shoot this lovely red cutout tartan playsuit from Missguided with white contrasting collar, i think tartan will be around forever which means this piece will never go out of style and coming into winter just add some sheer tights underneath or ankle socks.
I added a Primark denim jacked in a bigger size than i usually wear for that over sized look as the playsuit is quite short and fitted. You could wear any type of shoe, converse or doc martens would really dress it down in a cool way but i wore a pair of vintage black leather boots.
